CiteFacts is independently owned and operated by Nick Beattie. It is an experiment in verified change intelligence: what an authoritative public source says, what changed, whether a published record may affect something a reader cares about, and how to check again.

CiteFacts is not affiliated with CPSC, FDA, or any other government authority. The named authority remains the source of record.

Current scope

The live site has two bounded information families: U.S. consumer-product recalls and FDA nationwide drug-shortage status. No third family will be published during the current 30-day validation sprint.

Review responsibility

Nick Beattie is the publisher and editorial reviewer. Automated collectors, normalization rules, tests, and public verifiers support that review; they do not replace it. No physician, pharmacist, or other licensed clinician reviews the shortage pages, so CiteFacts does not publish clinical recommendations, substitutions, dosing, or local-inventory claims.
